From the Pay Fines webpage, after clicking the "Make Payment/View Fine Amount" button, the Minnesota Court Payment Center application will appear as shown below.
Please read the Notices before starting your search.
- Click Find citation or case . For information on the records that are searched, refer to What is Minnesota Court Web Payment.
- On the Find Citation or Case screen,
- If you choose citation number you must enter a citation number listed a the top of the citation in the required field.
- If you choose case number, you must enter the case number assigned by the court in the required field. If you enter a citation number in the case field
the system will not find your case.
Note: The citation number is printed on your citation. The case number is assigned by the court and is printed on court documents. For more information, see Citation or Case Number.
- Follow the steps in Paying for a Case or Citation.
To Search by Citation Number (default)
- If you selected Citation, in the Citation Number field, type the complete citation number, omitting the dashes and spaces.
- Click Search or press Enter .
To Search by Case Number
- If you selected Case, i n the Case Number field, type the complete case number, omitting the dashes.
- Click Search or press Enter .
- Follow the steps in Paying for a Citation.
